About Personal Trainer Melanie


My name is Melanie and I have a wonderful life. By that I mean two great little boys and husband. I don't wish for anything more or less and am very content with day to day duties..

I'm horrible at math, great with people. I guess that's part of the reason I decided to take on a Personal Training gig. I've had desk jobs, waitressing jobs, just about anything you can thing of in service to others jobs.....I needed more.

I started working out two years ago. I was looking for a change in my life. Wasn't happy with how things were going in my life then and decided to make a change....for the better. I've always been waiting for that "something". You know, the one thing you are destined to do? I found that in training. I realized that I had found something that felt so good. I needed to give that to others.

I contacted the International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) and ordered my 6 months Independent Study Materials for an understanding of training. Soon after passing I signed on my first client and have been hooked since. I've recently gotten a Premier Certification as well to understand more Integrated Training Techniques.

It's like an addiction.... there are so many techniques its mind blowing! Once you learn about one thing, it's onto another for an even more in depth understanding of the human body! This stuff is awesome!

It's not about just training someone. It's becoming a close, trust worthy confidante for that individual that drives me. Being a results oriented individual I love it when you lose weight and drop body fat, but it goes beyond the that. It's emotional and I love every minute of it. There are so many people in this world and we all have different day to day tasks....it's amazing to sit down with someone and just talk about things going on in their life.

When I meet someone looking to change I visualize them a year from now and know that with dedication, commitment and strength they can make it. I know that they will be happy once they get there. I want to make them see that and get them excited about their journey. I want to be your cheerleader and coach you through any obstacles you may encounter.

I love training and would encourage anyone seeking a life change to take on the challenge of becoming fit.
